Setup Guide

 

For Personal Computers/ Laptops:

Before you can use Apps Anywhere, you might need to download and install a piece of software (Citrix ICA Client). You will only need to do this the first time you access Apps Anywhere. This is a per computer installation. Please follow the steps below.

Note: Apps Anywhere is not fully compatible in Google Chrome. Use Internet Explorer or Firefox instead.

 

Windows (Internet Explorer and Firefox)

  1. Go to Apps Anywhere at http://appsanywhere.stcloudstate.edu/vpn/index.html.
  2. Log on using your StarID and password
  3. Download and install Citrix Receiver as prompted. If an installation is not required, allow popups and proceed.
  4. Access your Campus Desktop or available apps.

Macintosh (Safari and Firefox)

  1. Log on to Apps Anywhere at http://appsanywhere.stcloudstate.edu/vpn/index.html.
  2. Download and install Citrix Receiver.
  3. Access your Campus Desktop or available apps.

 

 

For General Access Labs:

All general access labs have Apps Anywhere client already installed for use.  Just follow these steps:

  1. Log on to Apps Anywhere at http://appsanywhere.stcloudstate.edu/vpn/index.html.
  2. If you are prompted, choose Already Installed.
    Select Already Installed

 

 

 

 

For Mobile (Android and iOS) devices:

St. Cloud State University's Virtual Lab is available for use on your smartphone or tablet device. To use the Virtual Lab, you will access to the Internet and an iOS or Android device.

  1. First you will need to download the Citrix Receiver app from your device's app store. This app is free.

  2. Once installed, you will need to configure Citrix Receiver to access St. Cloud State University's applications. There are two options available to do this.
    1. Follow this link on your mobile device to configure Receiver.

    2. Alternatively, you may be able to use the QR code below to configure Citrix Receiver.

  3. You will need to enter your StarID and password to finish configuration.
