The Virtual Lab (pilot project)
Installation Guide for Firefox (Macintosh - Intel)
Before you can use the Virtual Lab, you will need to download and install a piece of software (Citrix Client Application) and add the virtual lab site to Firefox. You will only need to do this the first time you access the Virtual Lab. This is a per computer installation. Please follow the steps below.
- Go to the Virtual Lab web site at http://huskynet.stcloudstate.edu/computers/virtuallab/ and click the link "Download the Virtual Lab Client". This link will continue to appear even after you have installed the software.

- Choose Save File to save the file to your computer.

- Close all browsers and make sure you have administrative privileges on your computer.
- Run the MacICA_OSX.dmg from where you saved it.
- Double-click the ICA Client.pkg icon.

- Click Continue.

- Click Continue.

- Read the license agreement and then choose Continue.

- Choose Agree to verify that you understand the terms of the license agreement.

- Choose your hard drive and then click Continue.

- Choose Install.

- If you see this message, click OK. Otherwise, skip this step.

- The client is now installed, choose Close.
- Open Firefox and choose Firefox from the menu bar, then click Preferences.
- Pick the Content category and then choose the Block pop-up windows Exceptions... button.
- Type "https://vlab.stcloudstate.edu" into the text box, double check the address, making sure to include the 's' on 'https://'. Then choose the Allow button.

- Close any remaining windows and Firefox and then return to http://huskynet.stcloudstate.edu/computers/virtuallab/. The setup is now complete.
