The infrastructure and networking team works with faculty and staff to keep campus wired.

Staff members install and maintain the copper and fiber optic cable networks across campus. They design and lay out SCSU's Ethernet system, from initial concept to final product. They run the cables that connect campus lab, office and classroom computers, plus printers and scanners, to the campus network and the Internet. They also install and maintain campus wired access plug-ins (open data jacks) and wireless access points.

The infrastructure and networking team will provide cost estimates and installation timelines for the work that needs to be done to improve SCSU networks and offer help in finding the best cabling solution to meet campus needs.
