HuskyNet Wired Access
SCSU has several hundred wired access plug-ins, also called open data jacks,
which provide campus laptop users with the ability to plug in and use SCSU
network resources and the Internet. These open data jacks
provide wired access to:
- Internet
- SCSU library resources
- SCSU course registration
- Desire2Learn online courses
- HuskyNet File/Web Space
Locations
Several hundred wired access plug-ins are found
in the Miller Center (library). Each study table is outfitted with a data
jack and a power receptacle. A couple of open data jacks are also available
in the coffee shop. The Engineering and Computing Center Lab, ECC 103, also
offers wired access.
Wired access plug-ins also can be found in many other campus locations.
