Apple IPod/IPod Touch

Requirements

  • In order to configure for and use wireless services provided by SCSU, you must:
  • Be on campus
  • Be a current student, faculty, or staff member
  • Have a valid HuskyNetID and password
  • Have a built-in or installed wireless adapter.

Configuration Instructions

Note: The instructions provided below are for an Apple IPod/IPod Touch. Depending on your device type and version, the instructions may vary.

 

  1. On the Main menu page, select the Settings tab.
  2. Once in the Settings page, select Wi-Fi.

  1. Select HuskyNet Wireless WPA from the list of available networks.

  1. When prompted, enter your HuskyNet credentials.

Username: STCLOUDSTATE\huskynetID

Password: [enter your HuskyNet password]

  1. Click Join.  If the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the device turns blue, the device is connected.

Note:

If you have changed your password since this connection was created, your device will not connect to the HuskyNet Wireless until the connection has been removed and a new connection is created with your new password.

  1. On the Main menu page, select the Settings tab.
  2. Once in the Settings page, select Wi-Fi.
  3. Select HuskyNet Wireless WPA from the list of available networks.
  4. On the HuskyNet Wireless WPA Settings page, click Forget this Network.
  5. Repeat steps to remove all HuskyNet networks.
  6. Complete the Configuration Instructions above to configure the device on the HuskyNet Wireless network.
