Technology Training and Workshops

St. Cloud State University helps you build your technology skill set by offering students, faculty and staff a wide range of free training sessions and workshops each semester.

Training sessions cover programs including Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop, Desire2Learn, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash and Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Visio and Word. They also teach skills such as CD burning, scanning and video production.

Campus resources

InforMedia Systems and the Center for Information Systems work together to provide this training to help you make the most out of the technology resources SCSU offers.

Specialized training

In addition to the regular schedule of training sessions, InforMedia Services also provides one-on-one, e-mail and group technology training for specific programs such as Desire2Learn, SPSS and Mini-tab.

The Center for Information Systems offers its sessions in a group training lab environment and on an individual basis, with custom training available based on special requests. It also operates the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) testing center.
