D2L Downtime May 31 - June 1, 2013 for Upgrade to Version 10.1
D2L will be unavailable from 10:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2013 until 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2013 to perform the upgrade to D2L version 10.1. D2L upgrade status will be posted at http://status.mnscu.edu/desire2learn
Version 10.1 of D2L is currently available in the QA (quality assurance) environment at https://stcloudstateqa.ims.mnscu.edu/
Version 10.1 Training and Support
There are some changes to the D2L interface due to the upgrade, most notably in the content area. A number of training videos highlighting these changes are available for both faculty and students at: http://mnscuims.mnscu.edu/training.html. Workshops for faculty will be offered both this summer and again during fall convocation and fall semester. Summer workshop dates will be announced shortly.

Request your summer D2L courses!
Use the "Faculty Course Request" link on the right to submit a request for your Summer 2013 courses.
Log in with your HuskyNetID and password to select from your
currently assigned courses. You can select multiple course sections to
be combined into one D2L course or you can have a separate D2L course
created for each course section.
Please allow 3-5 business days for your courses to be created. Students will be populated approximately 1 week before the start of the term.
D2L course start dates will be set to 3 days prior to the Course
Start Date. End dates will be set to 49 days after the course end date.
To accommodate incompletes, change the student's role to Student Incomplete.

D2L
lets instructors enhance their courses using the Web as well as offer distance
learning options by the creation and distribution of course elements online.
It provides a variety of online options including uploading assignments, taking
quizzes and listening to course lectures, all through a standard Web browser.

links for students and faculty that will help you get started on D2L, allow
you to do a system check to ensure your Web browser is configured correctly
