Faculty and staff needing multimedia support can call on St. Cloud State University’s teams of designers and technicians. Our multimedia specialists are available to assist with a spectrum of projects, including Web, print, audio and video.

Web development

SCSU’s Multimedia/Web development team develops, designs and maintains the official campus Web site. Web developers produce Web sites for campus departments and programs and assist faculty members in designing online course materials.

Graphic design and multimedia presentations

Designers work with faculty and staff to create graphics for courses, publications and presentations. Multimedia developers also produce electronic presentations and assist with the creation of interactive course CDs.

Adobe Connect Professional

Adobe Connect is an online Web Conferencing and collaboration tool. It provides multimedia capabilities that can be used for many activities such as group work, online office hours and interactive classes.

Video/Web conferencing

Staff in this office design, install, and maintain the equipment needed to share video and audio transmissions with other locations. They help faculty and students with their video conferencing needs, create and establish classes offered through interactive television, and provide cost estimates. Staff members maintain the operations center for the Central Minnesota Distance Learning Network.

CD/DVD duplication and media conversion

Instructional Technologies & Infrastructure Services offers CD/DVD duplication for faculty and staff members who want to reproduce media for educational use. Services include converting and reproducing audio and video files, and copying course Web sites and materials to disk. Learn more about the services available.
