with Outlook
Web Access (OWA)
Outlook Web Access (OWA) allows you to check your e-mail through a Web browser.
To login to your e-mail through a Web browser
You will find directions on the login page.
Access with Windows XP Service Pack 2
If you have installed
Service Pack 2 for Windows XP on your home computer, follow these instructions
to allow full functionality for your Web-based HuskyNet e-mail.
In Internet Explorer, add mail.stcloudstate.edu to the Allowed Sites list
for the Pop-up Blocker. To do this, follow these steps:
- On the Tools menu, click Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker
Settings.
- In the Address of Web site to allow box, type mail.stcloudstate.edu.
- Click
Add, and then click Close.
This will keep the XP SP2 popup blocker from interfering with the normal
operation of your HuskyNet e-mail.
Managing Junk E-mail with Web-based Access
Your Junk E-mail
folder shows up along with the other folders in your HuskyNet E-mail.

You can have messages from unwanted senders moved automatically to the Junk
E-mail folder when you add them to your blocked sender list. To do this:
- Access your HuskyNet E-mail from the web (http://mail.stcloudstate.edu)
- Go into Options

- Click
on Manage Junk E-mail Lists and add the sender's e-mail address to the
blocked senders list. If you are using Internet Explorer on a Windows-based
PC, you can also right-click on a message from the sender and choose "Add
Sender to Blocked Senders List" from there.
