Accessing HuskyNet E-mail with PocketPC
ActiveSync

You can synchronize your PocketPC directly with the e-mail server and eliminate the need to connect through your computer.

To use Exchange Server ActiveSync, you must do the following:

  • Have the PocketPC connected to and actively working on the SCSU network or the internet.
  • Click on the Start button with your stylus and select ActiveSync.
  • Select Tools from the bottom of the screen and choose Options.
  • In the PC tab, remove the check in front of "Include PC when synchronizing remotely and connect to:"
  • Click the Server tab and put a check in front of each folder you would like to synchronize with the exchange server. You may get a message telling you that items already exist on your device. Choose to delete the items on your device and replace them with the items from the server.
  • Type mail.stcloudstate.edu in Server Name
  • Click on advanced and enter your HuskyNetID (username), password and stcloudstate for domain.
  • Click OK and OK again. Then synchronize your handheld.
