Students must make a special request if they need an account extension so their HuskyNetID and Library access remain active during a semester they are not enrolled in classes. Students requesting an extension of their HuskyNet (which includes e-mail, D2L, etc.) and Library accounts will need to have their instructor or faculty advisor fill out the Request for Extension Form. If the request is received:
Request extension of
HuskyNet and Library accounts**Instructor or faculty advisor needs to submit request.
MUST BE FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES, SUCH AS WORKING ON AN INCOMPLETE OR A CULMINATING PROJECT.
For assistance with logging in, please contact the HelpDesk at helpdesk@stcloudstate.edu.
Graduate student accounts (for students enrolled in a master’s program) remain active for one year after their last semester of enrollment.
Students who need an extension to complete a thesis, paper or culminating project must have their advisor click on the link above to complete the "Request extension of HuskyNet and Library accounts" form.
The SCSU Office of Records and Registration (AS 118) will notify the HuskyNet Accounts Coordinator when it receives notice from a student that he/she is called to active duty. The student’s account will be flagged, indicating that he/she is on active duty for a specified amount of time, and the account will remain active for that period of time.
If you are not a student and want to request computer access
Once you graduate and your HuskyNetID account expires, you can still access
some of the Miller Center library computing services by applying for a Community
Patron UserID. Miller Center computers are available for area community
members who have a Community Patron UserID.
