Policy for Video Production Services
Purpose
To establish guidelines and fees for providing video production services.
Policy
LR&TS will provide video production services for the campus community.
- No presenters or speakers will be recorded without signed release forms.
All signed release forms must be returned to Miller Center 204-1, 48 hours
prior to recording. Appropriate release forms may be obtained from Jim
Bertram (MC 204-1, 308-4761).
- Requests for single-camera recordings must be
made a minimum of 3 working days before the event and are subject to availability
of personnel and equipment.
- Requests for multi-camera recordings must be
made a minimum of 10 working days before the event and are subject to availability
of personnel and equipment.
- Single camera on campus: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
M - F $35/hour, 1 hour minimum. After 4 p.m. M - F $50/hour, 2 hour minimum.
Single camera recording from in front of the speaker utilizing existing
room lighting. Fee includes videotape stock.
- Single camera off campus: Available
for a fee to be negotiated on a per project basis.
- Multi-camera/multi-microphone:
Available for a fee to be negotiated on a per project basis.
- Simple Editing:
Do-it-yourself editing facilities are available on campus at no cost. Staff
will provide basic instruction on editing equipment use. Access is on a
space-available basis.
- Complex editing, animation, graphics, artwork, music,
etc.: Available for a fee to be negotiated on a per project basis.
