Description
Microsoft Office 2008 is the version of the Microsoft productivity suite for Macintosh; its core components include: Word: Word processor, Excel: Spreadsheet program, Entourage: Personal information and communication organizer that includes contact/personal address management, calendaring, and e-mail functions and PowerPoint: Presentation program.
Version(s) and Support Level(s)
- Office 2008 is classified as Full Adoption and Use; the software has been through the ITS evaluation process and has been approved for use on St. Cloud State University computers.
- Office 2004 is classified as Phase Out; the software has been replaced by a newer version or different application, or the manufacturer is no longer fully supporting the software. Recommendations are to upgrade to a newer version or application.
Availability
- Office 2008 is supported in labs and offices for Fall Semester 2008 and is available for purchase at the Computer Store for home and personal use..
