Telephone Training

Information Technology Services offers phone and voice mail training, in person and via online tutorials.

Hands-on Training

During the transition to Unified Messaging, workshops will be held to introduce individuals to the new voicemail system. Click here to register for an upcoming workshop!

Hands-on, in person telephone and voice mail training for groups or individuals can be arranged. Please contact the Telephone Coordinator at 308-5510 regarding training needs.

Phone and Voice Mail:

  • Do you ever need to transfer a caller to another person's voicemail box?

    If you are using an analog phone:

    1. Press Transfer (Switch Hook or on some phones the Flash button, however you transfer a call currently)
    2. Dial 87778
    3. Upon system answering, press # followed by the voicemail box's 5 digit extension number
    4. Hang up.

    If you are using a digital phone:

    1. Press Transfer(Switch Hook or on some phones the Flash button, however you transfer a call currently)
    2. Dial 87778
    3. Upon system answering,press # followed by the voicemail box's 5 digit extension number
    4. Then press Connect or Transfer
    5. Hang up.
