Center for Information Systems


The Center for Information Systems provides information technology support in the areas of programming and reporting for university information systems, technology and software training, computer hardware and software technical support, telephone and voice mail services, and test scoring services.

The center uses current technology to enable university departments to provide quality service to students, employees and external clients. The Center for Information Systems (CfIS) department is composed of programming staff, technical support staff, technical training staff and administrative support staff. The department is located on the third floor of Centennial Hall (room 366).


Faculty and staff will need to activate their StarID by December 1, 2010

Service Level Agreements:

The purpose of these service level agreements is to establish the level of collaboration and service, responsibilities, and obligations provided by Center for Information Systems (CfIS).

File Server/Storage:

Administrative users are provided with file storage space on the administrative file server. Printing services are also provided through this server. In the event that a user requires additional storage capacity, contact 320-308-5510.

Multi-Function Devices

Copiers and multi-function (MFDs) devices have become affordable and convenient. However, these devices present a security risk. View the procedure guide to assist you with the management of MFDs in your department.
